No. There's no email, password or sign-up. Kuko creates an anonymous ID behind the scenes so your plan stays synced, and your subscription is linked to your Apple or Google account.
Yes. Kuko starts with a 3-day free trial so you can try everything. The subscription price for your country is always shown in the app and in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm, and you can cancel any time before the trial ends.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. On iPhone, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kuko. On Android, open Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kuko. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or billing period ends to avoid being charged.
Kuko works with popular supermarkets across Europe — including Lidl, ALDI, Carrefour, Tesco, REWE, EDEKA, Kaufland, E.Leclerc and Intermarché — and 25 chains in Brazil, such as Carrefour, Assaí, Atacadão, Pão de Açúcar and Extra. We're adding more all the time.
They're estimates. Supermarket prices change often and vary between branches, so your total at the till may differ. Calories and macros from the meal scanner are AI estimates from a photo — great for staying mindful, but not a substitute for medical or dietary advice.
Yes. Tell Kuko if you're vegetarian, vegan or pescatarian and about allergies to gluten, dairy, nuts, eggs, shellfish, sesame or soy, and your plan will avoid them. Always check ingredient labels yourself, especially if you have a severe allergy.
We only collect what's needed to plan your meals, and we never sell your data or show ads. Sensitive details like your name, diet and allergies are encrypted. You can delete everything at any time from Me → Delete my data. Read our Privacy Policy for the full details.
